It's a real knowledge center. ======================== COMPUTER TIPS OF THE WEEK TIP #1 SYSTEM PERFORMANCE – MICROSOFT® WINDOWS 95, WINDOWS 98 One of the things that can be done to make sure your system is running optimally is to verify that Windows is using 32-bit drivers for your hardware. You can do this by going to Start/Settings/Control Panel/System and selecting the Performance tab. If it says “Optimal Performance”, then you are using all 32-bit drivers for your hardware. If not, you may need to update the driver or replace the device. TIP #2 BACKUP ADDRESS BOOK - MICROSOFT® OUTLOOK EXPRESS Before you can backup your address book, you must first find it. You can do this by running Outlook Express, then going into your Address Book and selecting Help/About. A box (dialog box) will appear displaying the name and location of your Address Book. Now that you know the name and location of your Address Book, you can copy it to another location, by running Windows Explorer and dragging a copy of your Address Book file to another place (ie floppy disk, writeable CD, Zip drive, etc.). ======================== COOL SITES OF THE WEEK The Federal Consumer Information Center The Federal Consumer Information Center is a site that contains the latest consumer news and information.
